- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Great medical benefits, friendly coworkers.
Cons
Very few advancement opportunities. Upper level positions are filled externally. IT is understaffed and under-valued by the business. Minimum annual salary increases are expected, even for high performers. Morale is low. Office space is horrendous. LOCATION of offices are sketchy (don't go there at night). Employee health and wellness is NOT a priority of this company. Flexible schedules are not allowed and telecommuting is frowned upon.

Pros
Project Managers are available to meet with you on a weekly basis if needed. Salary offered was commensurate with experience.
Cons
Project Managers don't understand that research does not happen on a 9-5 schedule. Micro managing is their way of life. Little to no opportunities for advancement. Raises are very low and even if you are a high achiever and are able to prove it the most you will receive is a cost of living raise.
- Former Employee, more than 10 years★★★★★
Pros
As a government contractor, employees are compensated for work done. Great people. Highly dedicated, capable , hard workers. Mission oriented. It is a family oriented environment and most people appear happy but also depends on the leadership.
Cons
Typical ups and downs of government bureaucracy. You don't have as many advancement opportunities. You see government leadership and personnel more than you see or communicate with Cherokee Nations leadership
