I worked at Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Make decent money from tips, the Sunday buffets were the best.

    Cons

You're probably going to have to work on every major holiday and possibly your birthday. Tips are shared between all bussers, which means that someone who cleans tables slow get the same amount of money as someone who works twice as hard. Lots of people who work here are unreliable; if you want something to be done, you better just do it yourself.

I worked at Chesapeake Beach Resort and Spa full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Make good money, whether it be serving, bussing, hosting. Tips are good because tables turnover quick. Easter Sunday and Mothers Day buffets are huge money days.

    Cons

Many of the employees are on drugs and not too reliable. There's a serious seniority system--the servers who have been there the longest will take the same sections every day and will argue with you in front of other customers about who gets which table. It's embarrassing. The entire "system" of seating tables, hosts telling servers they have tables, getting food out of the kitchen is just a disaster. And the food is seriously overpriced.
