    Pros

awesome gym, daycare center, doctor, dentist, restaurants, 15% 401k match, inexpensive insurance with several beneficial options, generous pto, half day fridays

    Cons

Employees are great, but due to financial issues, morale is not good. This company doesn't make money and cannot get out of debt

I have been working at Chesapeake Energy full-time

    Pros

GREAT retirement plan. Good benefits. Competitive Salary. Nice bonuses.

    Cons

Huge differences between field plebeian and corporate employee. Culture initiatives are slow to take hold. There are still allot of hold outs on the old culture of “the ship is sinking take all the gold before she goes down”.

    Advice to Management

Laissez-faire “dealing with ambiguity” is not a leadership style or strategy, it’s another nail in the coffin.

I worked at Chesapeake Energy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The restaurants are amazing, they have a great 401k match, an awesome gym onsite, and if you make enough the bonuses can be big (I hear).

    Cons

The culture focus is ridiculous - they spent so much money on the culture classes - 10s of millions or more, all while laying people off making each department as thin as possible. I was doing multiple jobs, staying late, and working all weekend because of the amount of people laid off , all without any extra compensation.

    Cons

Stressful and leadership is a joke

    Advice to Management

They need to pay attention to their culture
