    Pros

15% 401K match; Generous stock awards; Largest company gym I've ever seen

    Cons

drink the cool-aid mentality permeates, feels like I'm back on Greek Row sometimes.

    Advice to Management

This may have changed under Lawler, but when I was there, management had a habit of hiring people straight out of college, some with no real experience in oil and gas (read: because they're good looking), so that CHK didn't have to pay them as much as someone with more experience and could do the job better.

    Pros

The pay was great, it was a 40-hr a week job, never had to work extra. Benefits were fantastic. It was great while it lasted.

    Cons

My entire dept was eradicated, so that was a bummer. We all knew we were overpaid and that's what led to the company's downfall, in my opinion.
