I worked at Chesapeake Energy full-time

    Pros

Great benefits, nice location with fitness center and restaurants on campus

    Cons

Not good at continued learning, not the best home life, not a positive culture, not much advancement opportunity, unstable employment caused by debt

    Advice to Management

Encourage employees to continue to learn and improve in their career and personally by offering learning classes or compensation for training and certificates. Offer a path to progress in a career.

I worked at Chesapeake Energy full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great benefits. Incredible campus -some of the positive aspects of Aubrey's legacy remain. The company has far more room for improvement than failure. Great place to pad your resume and try things a responsible company would never approve budget for.

    Cons

Uninvested Leadership, short-term decision making, management that is more concerned about decisions that position themselves for their next career move than the good of the company and shareholders. The stock performance speaks for itself.

    Advice to Management

You're doing super swell and I think you could be even more effective if you'd go back to Anadarko and take your "Cult-ure" with you
