    Pros

You get to work with children

    Cons

They’ll cut your hours during winter and summer breaks, barely working 25 hours a week. They let the children get away with biting someone’s head off before taking serious action

    Pros

The kids are great. Some of the families were so nice and thankful for what we do for their children.
You can do what every you want in your class.

    Cons

Management doesn't care about their employees.
They will make you come in to work when you are really sick, where you shouldn't be around small children such as the flu or pink eye.
They hire who ever walks in the door, with or without child care background.
You don't even know who's watching your kid because new people come in and out daily because the environment it stressful people leave and don't come back without calling or actually quitting.
They expect harsh tones when the kids are acting up, but then want you to act a completely different way when parents are around.
There is suppose to be training but some people do it when they have time but most people don't.
They play favorites! so they will treat you like garage for no reason! Making you stay late when you have to be somewhere but let others go early all the time just because.
Management says they will help but they never do.
They are always out of ratio, teacher to student. They don't care that it is unsafe and against DCFS policies. They could come in and help if we are over ratio but they never do. They are too busy getting more children in the school to make more money but doesn't hire more teacher to accommodate how many students they want to shove in one classroom.
They are money hungry and do not care about the children and definitely DO NOT care about employees.
HIGH STRESS JOB! with little pay and benefits

    Advice to Management

Care about your employees, they are they ones who keep your preschool running. LEAD BY EXAMPLE!

    Pros

    Great coworkers
    Some families are nice

    Cons

Children with behaviors that we can’t accommodate, principal does not care all she cares about is keeping money in the building. She sits in her office all day you never know when she is there. She only helps in the infant room never any other room. Principal and Assistant principal do not help out as much as they should. It’s a terrible place to work. I was even ignored for two weeks by the principal.

    Advice to Management

Try treating everyone equally be nice to everyone and do things fairly.

    Pros

Benefits weren't terrible, coworkers were the BEST part of the job.

    Cons

Managers were spiteful, Nobel doesn't want to show employees they care about what they are doing, Managers talked about an employees performance to other employees, Managers only completed their job when they had to be and sat in the office giggling to each other everyday. Only one took her job seriously and was there for the employees and the children/families. She was a third tier....sad!

There was no room for growth over employment time...many stuck in the same classrooms despite pursing an education.

    Advice to Management

Re-evaluate your way of running a business and start showing your employees you care again.

    Pros

    Great kids and stable company

    Cons

Unclean and unsafe for both children and employees. Also management had no regards for basic courtesy. They also push you to the limits in terms of how many children you are legally allowed to have in your class. Overall, a very uncomfortable work environment for someone who cares so much about children.

    Advice to Management

Responding to employees' messages would be a start to show respect. A little goes a long way and it's sad to see that "little" was not even done.
