I have been working at Chevron Phillips Chemical full-time

    Pros

CPChem is a great company to work for with amazing benefits. The work life balance and training that I receive here is second to none so I don’t see myself leaving this amazing company anytime soon.

    Cons

I have not run across a con yet, it is truly that great of a company to work for. Not every company is perfect but CPChem does a good job of coming close.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, continue to devote resources to developing, engaging, and retaining the talent pipeline.

I have been working at Chevron Phillips Chemical full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Pay and benefits. Most of the employees are good people and are supportive.
One of the best chemical companies.
Very good, very good, very good.

    Cons

    Limited promotional opportunities.
The company should look more deeply into issues regarding employee morale to determine if it's truly bitter employees or whether there's a supervisor that's the problem.

    Advice to Management

    Be transparent with subordinates.

I have been working at Chevron Phillips Chemical as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

3mths to learn a small unit. Training and help from coworkers is awesome. Detailed manual of what to expect and train on until you are tested by a round table.

    Cons

Only allow 19hrs per week. Don't get official frc, you have to use previous ones with other ex interns names in it

    Advice to Management

Provide NEW FRC for interns because we are on the payroll and even out the total allowance for intern hours to 20hrs instead of an odd 19hrs.
