    Pros

They treat their employees very well. Benefits are good and pay depends on where you work but if fair. Members are kind and management was very fair in my experience

    Cons

Some of the employees are not interested in working hard so it can be a frustrating experience if you are motivated to get the job done. Management does not like to fire people because they want the club to avoid any bad publicity that could come up.

    Advice to Management

Fire employees that have no interest in working or that hurt team morale.
Keep on treating the employees great (benefits, social events).

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Chevy Chase Club part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

the members and staff are all cordial . You are allowed to use the golf course on certain days.

    Cons

    The salary scale needs improvement

    Advice to Management

The reason why most of the golf staff left is because their benefits were not comparable with other golf courses

I worked at Chevy Chase Club part-time

    Pros

The people are great! The management is amazing and so were my coworkers. Kitchen staff could be difficult at times, but generally good people. The members are nice as well. Easy job, provided food on breaks. Fun experience!

    Cons

"Blackout Days" where everyone on staff is required to work, which includes holidays. First 30 minutes of shift was "break" but you were still penalized if you clocked in a few minutes late to break. If you were hired as part-time, you still may work full-time hours and not receive overtime pay or benefits.

    Pros

The employees and members are friendly.

    Cons

The position was very dull, and even after asking for more responsibilities, there really wasn't much to do.

I worked at Chevy Chase Club full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

None if people think just because of the name it will help you on your resume but in the end it's your work ethic and skills that get you that good job!!

    Cons

Everything racist, long hours and days no work life balance no real breaks, low pay, they advance outside the company, very discriminative towards employed, rude Management and chefs, members are from a different planet in there eyes just all around horrible place to work.

    Advice to Management

Treat people with respect, dignity and maybe you will have an sussesful team of workers

    Pros

A lot of the staff is nice and enjoyable to work with. Lunch is provided everyday and usually pretty good.

    Cons

Depended on the manager but some had little regard for hours. Was forced to work doubles 3 days straight consistently through the summer but they do whatever they can to keep from giving overtime.

    Advice to Management

Make the break system reasonable so that people can take them when they're actually needed. Also, if you don't need people on a certain day it isn't fair to call them an hour before when they already planned to come in.

I worked at Chevy Chase Club part-time

    Pros

People that work here are nice people, very humble people.
    Members are very kind people.

    Cons

pay is low- you would think because its in chevy chase the pay would be high...no its not.
no room for advancement- they have employees that have been there for 20 plus years that is getting paid the same as someone who just started.
be prepared for long hours- 11am-11pm
servers here do NOT get paid tips.
    Members ALWAYS get their way.

    Advice to Management

increase the pay then workers will feel like working. employees work long, hard hours then when we finally get our paycheck its really low.
