The job is simple and it is not stressful. To me, it's just another call center job. I had a great trainer that taught me all that I needed to know about Chewy and how to handle customers. I did have supportive leads during the training and after working remotely, however, they consistently switch leads almost every month or so. The team itself is very vibrant and fun to speak with. The health insurance benefit was good too.

Cons

Your first two-week training pay is less than what you sign up for (They do notify you about this during your interview). The attendance policy is extremely strict. The company only gives you 40 hours of unpaid time off, with or without doctors' notes. When I was sick and hospitalized, they disregarded this as they wanted to uphold the strict 40 hours attendance policy. While we were on call to discuss my termination, the second manager in the background looked like he was busy talking to someone else and was laughing which was extremely unprofessional.

Back to back calls making it hard to multitask. Will write you up for being one minute late. Strict attendance policy. Very high pressure environment.

Being late by 1 minute 3x is enough to get you fired.

Communicative and supportive leadership, growth opportunities, in office or remote options, development of various skill sets. Amazing work culture and benefits.

Attendance policy (personally I believe there should be unpaid time off incentives for employees who work a lot of overtime also. )

Lots of overtime available, relaxed dress code, no script to read off of, insurance benefits are ok, 10 days accrued PTO per year, easy job, company events in the break room with free food happen fairly often.

Back-to-back calls with no room to rest, 30min lunch breaks are too short, extremely strict attendance policy (by the min/second), high-school culture, leadership is all run by young millennials who only do what they were told by seniority that also have little experience in running a company. Room for growth is minimal and there are no real incentives for working better than the person next to you.
