I worked at Chicago Marketing full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The team is filled with amazing, young people. There's a lot of healthy competition between everyone to try and be the best at what you do.

    Cons

The job title was slightly misleading. As a marketing trainee, you aren't developing ways to market different products, but rather, you're using previously crafted marketing strategies to sell TV and phones at various stores.

I have been working at Chicago Marketing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Honestly I had no clue what I wanted to do when it came to a job, but Chicago Marketing helped me figure that out. With most companies, you have one specific job description, but here I got to learn each aspect of a business. From sales and marketing, to teaching and training, to even recruiting and Human Resources. I never would have gotten that opportunity anywhere else. And the best part is, you get to do all this with some of the best people I've ever gotten to work with. Everyone is so motivated and dedicated and supportive, it truly is like a family.

    Cons

Here's the thing, if you're not willing to learn these things and push yourself and be uncomfortable at times, this probably isn't the place for you. But, if you want growth and opportunity, you have to struggle and it's not going to be easy all the time, but nothing that's easy is worth it.

I worked at Chicago Marketing part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Extremely collaborative and innovative group of people, with exceptional leadership. A family atmosphere, which enables you to exercise your full potential and be the best version of yourself. I genuinely felt motivated and inspired. The VP of Human Resources in particular always led by example, and was there for me whenever I needed guidance. A true professional, and innovative leader. I wouldn't trade my experience at CMI for anything, as it helped me grow into the person I am today. CMI is truly second to none, the environment is positive as well as productive. I would recommend CMI to anyone who is looking to learn, grow, and ultimately succeed.

    Cons

Nothing really, just like any other major firm, the most important thing is that you're willing to work hard. If you're willing to learn, then you'll be more than fine.

I have been working at Chicago Marketing full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are a few things that especially stand out to me about this company. The way everyone is eager to help each other succeed and how management makes each employee make sure they know how important their role is and that they actually care about employee's livelihood is something I have not experienced previously and am certainly not taking for granted!

    Cons

I don't think there are any distinct cons, if you don't like going to work you don't like going to work. Everyone has to, so you might as well be in a supportive environment with tons of opportunities for growth.
