I worked at Chicago Marketing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Chicago Marketing is one of the best in the nation when it comes down to results. The clients are always happy. Having Chicago Marketing as my platform has already opened several doors for me because of their track record - it puts me in a high position for credibility and professionalism. I owe a lot to the team and management of CMI, it was a great run and I am excited to see what the future holds for everyone that...

    Cons

It is a lot of work - it is not a 9-5 kind of job if you want to see the kind of success that I did. For many, it is, but it is just a job in that sense and that is not what the business was built for. If you are looking for something that satisfies your need for growth and challenges - then this is the place to be. Get ready to level up!

    Pros

Good opportunity to meet people, coworkers and clients, in an energetic environment.

    Cons

You have to work all the time with limited PTO or vacation. "Marketing Representative" mean stand in a Costco or Menards, representing another corporation and selling their products. I liked my coworkers, but being surrounded by people actually enthusiastic about this as a career was extremely disheartening.

he office I work at was fantastic and full on energy. Everyone was awesome and gave you great advice. It Felt that you were an part of family.

    Cons

You are told that you only work 42 to 45 hours a week which is not bad. But the campaign I was on and team I was part of did not do to well at all. So lot of us stayed past our schedule time. So we can less get one lead so we did not look to bad. Lot of us got burn out because of that. I had to lie about how many tables I actually got. I pull 40 to 50 customers in a day, but I record down half that because I was going...

    Advice to Management

Even though the company has great leaders that are managers. But the company also has great managers that don’t know how to lead to. If they focus too much on managing and not leading the team and help them be successful. That manager and the team going to keep failing and keep failing tell that manager know how to lead.
