    Pros

The managers are very nice and informative. I accepted a position to start in May once I graduate and look forward to meeting the rest of the team!

    Cons

I didn't see any cons in the amount of time I spent in office.

I have been working at Chicago Marketing full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The team brought me on about three months ago. The onboarding process was thorough and transparent. I had lists of questions. I wanted projections and to see exactly what the position would be and grow into. Because of the nature of the business it's personal trajectory is difficult to pin point, however, the management that met with me laid out a blue print that gave me the security I needed to make the move. Cons

It is a very busy office. If you need something done, you need to know the right people to go to. Otherwise, your needs or requests may get lost in translation.

    Advice to Management

Create a roadmap for information to allow individuals to know where to go for specific information up front.

I worked at Chicago Marketing part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nice office, friendly staff, good location

    Cons

They lie to you from the beginning. Training is 2-4 weeks and you’re making $12 an hour. It will take you a long time to reach $85,000 because you have to sell the product. It’s like a pyramid scheme. If you have a degree this job is not for you. Your starting salary is less than $19,000 a year. They advertise $40,000-85,000 but it’s not true!!! You go through 3 less than 5 minute interviews just to be told you will be...

I have been working at Chicago Marketing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I have been working with the team as an assistant for a few months now and have built a decent size book of business thus far. Big clients. Cool environment. Good pay

    Cons

It’s a lot. A lot to learn. A lot of work. It’s a hustle and grind vibe but i like it

I have been working at Chicago Marketing full-time for less than a year

    Pros

I've been here for about 8 months. It's a good gig. I have a good base pay ($43k salary) plus commissions. Since I have been here I calculated just under $67k. In 8 months - that's pretty impressive. The training was great - the team is awesome. I work in the wireless division and have built a strong connection with my team/clients.

    Cons

Long hours - the commissions are performance based (And I have a strong sales background) not everyone will be as successful as me - but that's the beauty of it. Cool place in general

    Advice to Management

Better flexibility within the scheduling (time off - call offs) for the team

    Pros

Chicago Marketing has done nothing but welcome me with open arms! Every one here is like family. I have been able to be myself and put in my work as well as not be afraid to ask questions or discuss concerns when need be.

    Cons

Like every job, it comes with its share of stresses, but nothing that can’t be overcome to help motivate you in the long run.

I have been working at Chicago Marketing for more than a year

    Pros

This is a great team that works hard to give their employees an opportunity for growth, They only promote from within but the training is so thorough (there is so much to learn!) that it makes sense. With that being said, because of my experience and my ability to pick things up fast, I was promoted to management in less than 5 weeks so they practice what they preach

    Cons

It is a lot to learn - as I mentioned - but if you have your mind in the right place you will be fine

I worked at Chicago Marketing part-time for less than a year

    Pros

The coworkers were nice and cool

    Cons

This type of business sucks and it gives everyone in marketing a bad name. The reason is that this company focus only on sales. I was going to school and was looking for experience in marketing. I got the job with ease I was happy about it. but then I have to do the maximum hours of 32 hours it's not bad if you don't have school. What you are going to be doing is one going to the office for an hour or two or going to...

I have been working at Chicago Marketing full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

We have had a few new clients come into the system over the past few weeks which brought on a few new brand ambassadors. We had a few really busy weeks with tight deadlines and I was so impressed with the team. Everyone took on more responsibilities and just made it happen. It was a machine!

    Cons

When there is a time crunch it is all hands on deck. Everyone is needed and the hours and pressure can be intense.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

You get to learn how a profitable cult works. There are good people there with good intentions.

    Cons

You work for a profitable cult. If you understand how the business operates, you have a decision to make: do I willingly subject myself to this brainwashing, or do I quit. Deceptive practices designed to get you in, and to get you to stay.

    Advice to Management

No advice, what you do works quite well. It's just weird.
