I have been working at Chick-fil-A full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great atmosphere, easy to interact with other employees and customers.

    Cons

Managers and directors do a lot of double talk, hard to determine priorities.

    Advice to Management

When we need to do something a certain way don't change your minds about it if it's not convenient at the moment. People are always watching your movements and listening for what you are saying. Your walk talks and your talk talks but your walk talks louder than your talk talks.

    Pros

The people are great, the culture is very professional, and the free lunch is very convenient. Everyone is pretty friendly.

    Cons

I would say there were no real challenges. The culture could've been a little more diverse at times. But overall good.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

I have been working at Chick-fil-A part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The only benefit from working here was that I was able to connect and build personal relationships with customers

    Cons

The younger managers have no regard for teen workers. My job title was cashier but in 6 months I only worked the register a couple times. I was often found cleaning the bathrooms, play area, parking lot, dining room and taking out the trash.

    Advice to Management

This is a really strict workplace to only be paying minimum wage to people who work their butts off to clean the store. They should treated with more appreciation.
