Pros
Most of the customers are kind and some of the employees are incredibly awesome people.
Cons
They steal your tips. If you legitimately split tips and have even slightly competent leadership with only needed tables open you're going to average >55-75 per hour and on spectacular days >100 per hour for sure if not >200. This place leaves you at a whopping 18-30 per hour taking literally everything over that for themselves. We've seen countless examples over the years of them obviously stealing the tips and fudging the numbers. Multiple supervisors and managers told me and many other dealers that yes your tips are being stolen and they're making up what the tips are every day. The staff in the department that counts the chips said the same. When I worked at a different casino allowing you to keep your tips I averaged 68-97 per hour, and that was on day shift. Some days it was almost 200. The insurance is not worth getting. The deductible is so high you'll never have anything covered unless it's catastrophic. Save your money, don't get the insurance. The company flagrantly doesn't care about their employees. They shove that fact in your face. Certain employees and one in management sell narcotics. Many people are aware of this. They'll tell you themselves if you get close to them. Nepotism and sexism is rampant. Sexual favors for better shifts and positions is openly a reality here. If someone in management simply doesn't like you they will change your schedule when you're off work and not notify you so that when you return to work you have multiple no call no shows, which is fireable. If this happens do not sign anything. There's pointless meetings multiple times a year that are mandatory to attend and count as unexcused absences if you don't attend. They do it for tax breaks. These last an hour or so usually and have one of the overpaid degenerates speaking telling you about their expensive family vacations and living and how the nation has been so good to them. You'll have to work all holidays even the pretend ones and weekends. They're not going to wall and roof the building to be actually safe. Half the casino is still a tent and this is in tornado alley. A strong wind has and will knock down the fake wall onto everyone in the tent area much less a tornado. But they get tax exemptions because it's an 'ongoing construction'.

Pros
Great Benefits. above average 401k plan, good number of PTO/sick leave
Cons
1) Nepotism, your advancement is more about who you know, go to church with, or proximity to the governor or his family over any actual ability or talent. 2) Micromanaging by leadership is bad. There are lot of people in positions with very little talent or ability, so leadership sponges off your talent and ability to justify their own high salaries 3) The Chickasaw Nation apparently didn't get the memo that discussing politics and religion in the workplace is rude. Note: if you are anything other than a religious conservative run like heck. They do it all under the guise of "culture" too which as a Chickasaw citizen myself always felt really demeaning and insulting. 5) Bureaucracy, if you thought the federal government or state was bad, you'll find this just as bad.

Extreme nepotism and other major issues.
Nov 29, 2022 - Anonymous Employee in Thackerville, OKRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
If you do drugs get to know people, you can purchase various narcotics from some in upper management and other positions.
Cons
There's so much wasted potential here, it's one of the worst employers ever. No common sense or integrity in management. Substantial responsibility for many positions, every single one of them wildly underpaid including management until your at the very top. Your supervisor/manager in most departments is getting paid under or at what you should be paid. For how much the casino makes it's impressive greed paying the staff like a fast food restaurant. Extreme nepotism almost always. They commonly practice sabotaging careers here. Management will schedule you extra days when you're off, not notify you and you will have no call no shows. Other methods as well. This place very skillfully embezzles multiple millions of dollars regularly. I've never seen this level of dishonesty at any other employer in my lifetime. Your health insurance deductible is so high the insurance pays nothing until you have spent many thousands for the year that you can't afford because they pay so little for what you're doing. You will also pay monthly for the insurance. There is multiple times a year you will have to go to rally/meetings. They're often offensive and always a major waste of time having little to nothing to do with your job and will have someone speaking that's clearly on the 'special payroll' bragging about what the Nation has done for them, the ridiculous vacations they take their family on, (insert delusional and arrogant nonsense here) etc. You're going to work most-all holidays and weekends.
