I have been working at Chico's FAS part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Generally pleasant atmosphere, nice managers and co-workers. Most customers are lovely ladies. I love the merchandise and appreciate the employee discount.

    Cons

As a part-timer, you may be very busy sometimes, then not work, or work very little, for entire weeks. Wages are low, unless you can have large sales.

    Advice to Management

Increase wages and predictability for your workers in order to avoid turnover. Relieve some of the pressure to sell - nobody makes their sales goals on a Monday night when there are severe weather warnings, for instance....

Friendly environment. The Chico's attitude is contagious in the work place.

    Cons

Chico's seems to be struggling recently, and it's harder to produce the way they do and continue to sell product through brick and mortar.

I worked at Chico's FAS (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are none, this company just sucks

    Cons

This company is racist against people if color, put management in place that displays these traits as well as theft

    Advice to Management

Remember that your company is located in an area that has a diverse population and every customer, and employee should be treated right and fairly no matter what their skin color is. They expect you to have full availability but will not give you full time hours. They use bullying tactics against employees

    Disgraceful

    Pros

40 percent off at whbm, chicos and soma. You also get to meet interesting people. That is pretty much it.

    Cons

Will fire you if you are sick or mentally ill. They don't like their employees to be sick at all and it is really sad. They also don't work around school schedules.

    Advice to Management

If someone has been working for your company for over 2 years get them to move up. Also if someone is sick they are sick
