    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Chico's FAS part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It's better than unemployment. I like the ladies I work with, but we all feel like we got the shaft by this new CEO.

    Cons

Low pay. Always understaffed. And clothes are getting pricey, but the quality is way down. We used to get a high discount whenever we did a floor set. They took that away.

    Advice to Management

Your new CEO has cut out all the little compensations for employees. We resent it.

I worked at Chico's FAS part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It was great to see the repeat customers coming in. I made many friends. Chico's is great about sending out emails and catalogs with discounts to keep the customers coming back.

    Cons

The register system was a little difficult to learn.

    Advice to Management

There has to be an easier register system that doesn't require you to remember so many things.

I have been working at Chico's FAS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good health insurance, PTO, full time position, employee stock option, 401k matched 2 & 1/2 %, can contribute up to 10%, company discount, brand discounts a few times a year.

    Cons

Working weekends and nights, open Easter Sunday, hourly rate plus sales bonus = salary, 401k matched only 2 & 1/2 %, compensation not much above $30k, employer includes their insurance cost in employees yearly compensation amount

    Advice to Management

Close on Easter Sunday as well as Christmas and Thanksgiving, don't include health insurance cost in employee compensation as that is not money they actually receive.
