Employee discount. I was able to build my wardrobe through great employee discounts and contests. Fun place to work and I enjoyed working with my co-workers. The customers were nice and the best part about my job.

Cons

Cannot work more than 25 hours. Low pay. Commission is minimal and is tiered. Employees who always called in sick and with mediocre performance were promoted to full-time. Manager was not fully committed to her job. Words of appraisal did not match actions by management. Long term career opportunity very minimal. District manager and store manager did not follow through on disciplinary actions with an employee who worked while under the influence of drugs/alcohol. (This occurred on several occasions).

This is a great company to work for in retail. By the very nature of the game retail is always different due to work hours and dealing with slow days that don't make plan . But, history dictates that now sales people in stores get above min wage plus bonus!! I remember working in very high end stores with only $00.10 above the min wage. They give great discounts to their employees and love the ladies that shop the stores. Lots of opportunity to advance. I like the Passport membership it works and trends sales and customer preferences in ways that really support your customer knowledge. They have the dye lots of the fabrics really down to a perfection so creating an ensemble is a snap. The strong colors bring out the beauty in more mature clients about age 45. I have taken the colors in natural day light and can clearly see someone has taken the time to make sure the colors are even crisp, and a wonder match. The cut and design is a clean smooth smart look. I've worked in the textiles field or the 'rag trade' in the past and can only say somene is doing there homework here!!!

Cons

They need to update there computer hardware. Lots of time to perform transactions. Would like to see trending reports off of Passport. Would like to see pantone color wheels around the store so sales associates can really get a handle on matching. Have a special color matching day by an expert so the customers know what looks really good on them with their skin tones and hair and add the info to the passport system,

Pros

Love the people I work with! All kind and hardworking people.

Cons

No bonus structure that is attainable. Few employee perks besides employee discount. Job now covers merchandising and processing shipment and cleaning besides selling.

Sturdy company debt free.

Cons

Bad employee discount the customer actually gets a better deal than employee. And we are not allowed to use their customer passport
