Overall I enjoyed working there. I would have moved on much sooner had I not had such a good team to work with.

Pros
Very fun and energetic environment. Love the clothes and area clientele. Clean and pleasing work environment. Feel like being with friends. Great personalities and cooperative work ethics.

Employees could benefit from higher per hour base pay, although bonuses and special incentives do add to drive personal goal setting for employees.

Busy, and Enjoyable work environment

It is fun to go to go to work daily, wearing stylish clothing and jewelry! When you arrive, you will often notice new clothing or accessories on the floor! If you enjoy greeting and assisting customers, have a sense of fashion, this is a nice retail environment in many ways. On many days you will be able to handle the same customer from your greeting, serving them with selections to ringing them up and signing up new members. Instead of just standing in one place, you are often moving about the store assisting customers. I enjoyed putting back go back clothing too---a chance to learn where new arrivals are, get exercise and greet new customers! I loved providing old fashioned service by bringing items to customers in the dressing room. Many managers and assoc. nice to work with.
Cons
Sometimes you will be asked to do turn-arounds, meaning, you will be scheduled to work a night closing shift, followed the next day by an opening shift. I did not have a guarantee of minimum hours per week. For part timers hours go up and down, according to the season. On the upside, employees are rewarded if they meet certain sales goals. This is a competitive job, and there is usually one or two who are very aggressive and may try to take your customer. You just have to let it go because you cannot make an issue in front of customer. Most of the associates are nice to work with it is usually a friendly competition environment. Occasionally, there may be an inconsistency of sales rules due to different managers and assoc. interrupting the rules differently. You must be flexible. If you are part time, under 30 hours, no medical or vacation benefits or holiday pay. You will give up some holidays, and many weekends, but of course you can ask for time off without pay, in advance.

Great work environment with coworkers and willingness to work with your schedule. Stress free work place with limited work load among a small group of coworkers.
Cons
Limited number of positions available and thus a limited room for professional progression within an individual store. I only worked part time but that is what I observed from coworkers

Pros
Great work environment and brand educational learning provided. Company as a whole really cares about ALL employees across country.
Cons
Not many, wish the lunch breaks could be up to an hour, or 40 mins vs 30 mins

Pros
Company wants to get invovated and up to date with their competitors. Corporate encourages a fun environment to work in and likes to have all of their stuff fully involved.
Cons
There's is way too much work for the miserable pay. Calling campaigns, reaching out to customers on a daily basis through phone calls and emails, setting up appointments, monthly fashion shows for organizations, and asking other companies for "samples" of their merchandise to raffle off for pur customers which should be provided by corporate. There are way too many things that you are expected to do but aren't paid accordingly. Not to mention the commission system which is a joke.

Pros
Customers, product and store team members
Cons
Some upper micromanaging happening that's starting to make me uncomfortable turning into a hostile work environment and making a decision to leave the company. It's so very sad because I love the customers and the brand just wished they lived up to their standards.
