    I worked at Child Development part-time

    Pros

    Great locations through the South Bay, at each elementary school
    Site.
    Get to know the kids and parents well, school events and so on.

    Cons

    High turn over rate for teacher and superviser.
    Lots of paperworks and assessments for
    Kids.

    - Good benefits
    - Paid overtime

    Cons

    - Drama between site supervisors
    - Stark different between different sites, some sites had an abundance of supplies and furniture while others had to make due with old supplies and broke furniture

    Supportive supervisors and co-workers and access to professional growth and development; thorough (paid) training before starting the job, paid holidays and sick leave, well funded centers with fully stocked supplies, time given for prep work, job opportunities within the company are regularly posted and upward mobility is possible, Supervisors try their best to match your experience and interests with job openings

    Cons

    Tiring at times, but that's the nature of the job.

    Advice to Management

    Access to continued development and training opportunities counts for so much, please continue to offer these to employees. Consistently supportive supervisors and clear communication with staff made my experience here a memorable one.

    I work with a great team that empowers me to use my personal strengths to do my best work. I love working with our teachers and site supervisors on creating fun and engaging programs for children throughout California.

    Company advancement to either Operations or Program Development teams can be slow.

    Competitive pay, flexible schedule, great working environment, career growth opportunities, great values beliefs, in house professional development training, convenience of locations, good benefits and great people!

    Cons

    I wish there were more opportunities for preschool and infant centers to work at.
