I worked at Child Guidance Resource Centers part-time

    Pros

Only pros for me were that I could work my own days and hours and I could do my notes on my time at home.

    Cons

Unpleasant work environment, suspected due to being part-time...did not feel part of the team or accepted by full-time staff. Supervision/supervisor only interested in numbers, not quality of care provided to clients. Also, that person was resentful and a back stabber when I quit. Pay not so great for the amount of time required to do all of the necessary documentation and travel.

    Advice to Management

Pay employees a decent wage for required meetings. Emphasize training and quality of services provided to clients and their families, not the numbers. There is an art to behavioral health treatment.

I have been working at Child Guidance Resource Centers full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Only one thing that the people who you work with are mostly very friendly... I can't find anything else that is good here...

    Cons

Low pay..they wouldn't give your a raise.. The managers/ directors will give themselves the raise but you wouldn't get nothing. I've working here for almost two years ..didn't get nothing..started here which was already under paid...

    Advice to Management

Change the culture...keep the good employees from leaving...

    Pros

The hours are flexible. Supervisors are approachable and supportive and really try to meet your needs with regards to hours and location of cases. The office is small, which makes for good rapport and easier collaboration with other clinicians.

    Cons

The rates for BHRS staff have not changed in some time. Overall in the company there are few full time undergrafuate level positions. Equipment given for the field is slow, outdated and unreliable.

    Pros

Clinicians truely care about clients. Supervisors value their employees. Clinicians are friendly and promote collaboration and support. Flexible hours. Supervisors respond well to clinician feedback and strive to improve the department.
