    Pros

    Great partners to work with.

    Cons

CEO did not understand or consider my personal reasons for leaving the job.

I worked at Child-Parent Centers, Inc.

    Pros

Generous paid time off. Standard Christmas and spring break time off. Coworkers are friendly. There are more cons than pros really.

    Cons

Low salary. No raises. Feel terrible for taking your paid time off. Relationship based agency that plays favorites and talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk.

    Advice to Management

Give a comparable salary. Focus on employee needs.

I worked at Child-Parent Centers, Inc.

    Pros

Great environment and people. Most are truly dedicated and invested to supporting children and families.

    Cons

Administration can tend to over think things rather than acting and moving forward.

    Advice to Management

Strong and fair leadership is so important. Listen to the staff though...they know much more than they receive credit for.

I have been working at Child-Parent Centers, Inc. full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

Time off pay for education training working with families and children. Employees are dedicated and hard working

    Cons

No raise. Disappointing that the expectations do not meet the salary. Want to stay but there has to be more opportunities for growth with a BA degree

    Advice to Management

Give your employees a raise. They working their butts off to cover open positions. Recognize those that contribute more than required.

I have been working at Child-Parent Centers, Inc.

    Pros

Great time off and easy, low-key work environment (Most of the time). Very nice benefits package and time off. Admirable mission of trying to help children and families get ahead.

    Cons

The agency is run by a lot of senior managers who do not have a clue on how to run a MODERN non-profit agency. Let's put it this way, the department in charge of training and development is staffed with people who still think Word and Power point are the top tools of the trade. The executive director is not very knowledgeable about current methods to solve problems, so she relies on the advice of her senior staff. But...

    Advice to Management

Put your pride aside and begin soliciting the advice of employees who probably know how to fix problems but are too afraid of upsetting directors to offer their opinion.
