    Pros

Great co-workers and you will love the kids (when they are not trying to spit, kick and punch you)

    Cons

If you are a black male, stay away from this job. You will be falsely accused of something and administration will not have your back.

  3. "Good learning experience, but they do not value employee retention."

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Child & Family Services (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Positive co-workers, great learning opportunity working for crisis, fast pace and never boring.

    Cons

Poor administrative support and communication. Hours are long and unpredictable, pay is low for the stress level, strange staffing choices, high burnout/turnover.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your staff, improve communication, take care of your existing staff rather than the mindset of "we can hire someone else."
