Pros
Nice staff, always have open cases, work well with your schedule
Cons
PTO is just as good as nonexistent, not much room to earn a raise
Children's Home Healthcare Response3y
We appreciate your feedback. Our PTO accrual is based off of longevity of employment. The longer you are an employee of CHH the more PTO you can accrue.

Pros
Office staff is personable and attempts to accommodate nursing staff as well as patients and families to the best of their ability.
Cons
This is not a reflection of CHH and is not confined to this company, but is universal from one agency to another.......although each nurse has autonomy, the need for teamwork in any given patient's home is huge. Our patients and families, as well as the nurses staffing a home, all benefit greatly when everyone is on board with the care given to the patient, the case in general, i.e. making sure supplies are in home timely and utilized wisely, and cooperating and with one another for the ultimate good of the patient. Communication is key between nursing staff for the best outcome for the patients and their families. It pays to be friendly. .....

Pros
I have been a nurse since 1995 and have spent a majority of my career in Home Health. There are many nursing agencies that care, and give good care. Very few agencies look after the nurses who are providing the care of these medically fragile children. Children's Home Healthcare offers Aflac, employee insurance, paid time off, and a very competitive pay rate. The nurses I have worked with are bright, well educated, and take excellent care of their patients. Staffing is diligent in finding nurses to cover open shifts. I am pleased with the care that they give to the patient's, their families, and staff. Rachel J. RN
Cons
None really, most cons apply to any home health job.

Pros
This company really takes care of their nurses. If I need anything for my assignment, ANYTHING, they get it to me. Even pens! The pay is competitive, and is every 2 weeks with direct deposit. This is a great home health company to work for. The office is far from my location, (68 miles one way) but I only have to drive there twice a year, so it's not bad. Everything else is done via email, and snail-mail. I'm so glad I work here.
Cons
office location is far from my home

Pros
Some of the advantages of working for this company is that you have staff who actually listens. Every time that I have had a question and/or concern, I have had the pleasure of being listened to and followed up with. I have only been an employee for less than a year and I would highly recommend this company. They care about the patient's needs as well.
Cons
I have not experienced anything negative.
