  6. "Good for clinical, not office admin"

I have been working at Children's Hospital Los Angeles

    Pros

Mission and doing work that matters.

    Cons

First time managers who are new to leadership roles always play favorites. Most have worked here for eons so you get what you get. Managers even routinely cancel/skip team meetings so communication intentionally suffers and impacts those on the outside. Again, lots of favoritism and questionable actions eg allowing specific employees to get overtime or work from home. See other reviewers, it’s not just one observation.

I worked at Children's Hospital Los Angeles full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly and down to earth, easy access to managers and directors. Great compensation and health benefits.

    Cons

A bit mismanaged, disorganized, no clear set expectations. Poor communication. A bit antiquated in terms of working remotely/flexibly (even if job allows it, managers do not).
