    Pros

    Small hospital so you Get to know everyone well.

    Cons

    Very unorganized place to work. Never enough equipment or supplies. Upper management does not want to listen or change to fix problems. Under staffed and Under paid.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your staff and treat everyone equally. Better compensation for hard work and raises.

    Working with the children and some really great co-workers.

    Cons

    Poor management, forced overtime on many employees.

    Listen more to the employee's concerns, keep everything fair and be more respectful.

    Well respected organization where the children come first. Very rewarding to experience the courage of these young patients.

    Cons

    Parking and accessibility. Train schedules often interfere with arrival and departure.

    Advice to Management

    Continue doing what you're doing; it's worked for over 60 years.

    The area's leading children's medical center. Innovative cancer research program, as well as comprehensive child care.

    Cons

    Sometimes understaffed and payscale is a little below the area market norm.

    The patient's safety and quality of care delivered is alway at the forefront. Nurses are compassionate and love children

    Just starting to get more ancillary help

    The hospital strives to deliver the best possible care to the patients while making sure that the parents are well informed of all options and possibilities while caring for their children.

    Cons

    There have been some growing pains with the advent of LCMC corporate system. Staff is uncertain of their value.

    Advice to Management

    Don't take your staff for granted. There are many employees who are searching for other employment options.

    fantastic work environment

    Cons

    I haven't found any cons yet except for it taking a long time to get my uniform. also other hospitals don't have a probationary period for benefits but this one does
