    Bottom line

    Pros

I feel I can be opening with my supervisors and manager. They are caring about personal life, don’t just pretend to help with a work life balance. There are so many options for benefits that meets diverse needs (large family, no dependents, etc). Medical could be a little cheaper. There are so many ways to get involved to help make childrens an even better hospital. They are very transparent with changes happening.

    Cons

Pay could be better. Weve lost so many people that I believe would have stayed for a more competitive salary.

    Pros

Good benefits Wellness Center for employees and family where prescriptions are dirt cheap and doctor's visits are $10 Typically you receive annual merit increases Work life balance for office staff is great Very comfortable work environment

    Cons

They need a more diverse workforce, and I also believe they need a more aggressive focus on promoting from within to help retain staff.

    Pros

The Hospital is well known and has a excellent reputation, there are no nights or weekends required. You do not have to work Holidays.

    Cons

The paid time off is earned by points of an hour and hard to accumulate, there is no schedule flexibility, or work/life balance accommodations. The technology is behind and change is like pulling teeth. The parking is far away and takes 7 minutes to get to the building.

    Pros

Great work life balance. Decent benefits. Good co-workers.

    Cons

Pay is sometimes below industry standard. Not much ability to advocate for higher pay for great performers. The company is large and in many ways behaves in that manor.
