I worked at Childrens Lighthouse full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Nice location & staff!

    Cons

I worked at the Spring location in the summer 2016. I never received my last check & its Feb 2017. I've contacted both the Director & Supervisor. This childcare center is about the money when parents need to pay but, not the same when it's time to pay their employees.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees for their hard work. Without your employees you will not have a center.

The pay sucks for how much work. There is never any sort of overtime, and if there is you get long lunches or leave early to get rid of OT

I worked at Childrens Lighthouse full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I do enjoy working with children. Colleagues are helpful. And depending on which location, most parents are great to work with.

    Cons

It's a franchise, so they'd got to keep up with the numbers. Owners are all about cost cutting that materials needed to deliver what they promise to parents are hard to come by. Always running at maximum ratio set by minimum standards. They got rid of a great curriculum, Abeca, and are not trying to impliment one that is very poorly put together.

    Advice to Management

Number one reason good teachers leave is because of management.
