I worked at Chiltern International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great support from Managers. You can always count on your Line Managers to have your back when Team Leaders tend to overwhelm you with a million tasks they need done in 2 minutes.

    Cons

The systems used could be better but I guess that always depends on what study you're on and whether the sponsor has their own systems they use.

I worked at Chiltern International full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great people and team spirit. Although there has been a lot of turnover in recent years, there is a strong core of people that have been there more than 10-20 years that are very supportive.

    Cons

Has been papering over the crack over the past few years. Systems and process are stone-age and have been driving the margins down, so they are letting for non-billable people to try to improve the margins for a sale. Long term this will be a disaster.

    Advice to Management

Get your house in order and improve efficiencies before the house of cards falls down.

I have been working at Chiltern International full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Management invests in its talent
    - True work-life balance (line and project management view work through the work-life balance lens and promote in employees the value of time off)

    Cons

Systems are well-functioning but are a bit behind the market

    Advice to Management

    Consider offering cross-departmental training programs

I have been working at Chiltern International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Growing CRO. I believe they are expanding. Good people, Management seems nice. If they continue doing good job they'll be one of the top CRO in coming years. Standard Benefits. 3 weeks vacation.

    Cons

Workload can be heavy sometimes and you end up working more than normal 8 hours . Maybe better if you're contractor ?

    Advice to Management

If you see a good knowledgeable employee, try to keep them, promote them fast if they're capable. Manage project well as I see there's shortage of staff in projects. Have at least 2 lead/second lead programmer in every project so you don't scream at the final deadline, if you can manage to do that then it's great.
