I worked at Chilworth Technology (More than a year)

    Pros

Chilworth has a solid reputation in the flamabilty/Explosivity market and plenty of room to expand capacity, as well as a strong Process Safety niche in Hazops/PHA. It also has some very smart and knowledgeable scientists and consultants and managers.

    Cons

The financial restraint caused by the acquisition by Dekra and merger with BST have severely hamstrung investment to help offset the lack of growth in their highly competitive markets. There is also a severe lack of customer care/focus that is causing stagnation in customer retention, repeat business and account penetration.

    Advice to Management

Invest in customer-focused systems, processes and people that will build a customer-focused culture, and expand the service offering.
