For engineering team and across all of Chime: * Motivated, excellent colleagues who are smart, helpful and committed * Solving meaningful financial problems for Americans and complex scaling problems as our popularity drives meteoric growth * Excellence in communication and company transparency, approachable friendly and genuinely inspiring leadership and executive team * Focus on onboarding (we've gotten excellent at hiring in our 3rd year of hypergrowth) and ensuring folks have the data and tools that empower us to do our jobs well
Cons
Cons are hard to find at Chime. We are not as pro-active as Pinterest or Google in responding to the long term changes in workplace. Nothing terrible here, we're just not a pack leader in terms of making announcements and forecasting timelines around making accessible low occupancy offices, while we're building out our remote work culture.
