I worked at Chipotle full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

the crew members are great, free food when you work, customers are nice, the work can be very satisfying at times

    Cons

demanding work, management doesn’t care about you as much as they want you to think, not paid enough for the amount of work you do

    Advice to Management

higher up management needs to care about individual stores and actually help when needed instead of putting incredible workload on crew

I worked at Chipotle part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free meal per shift (literally anything you want) and the food never gets old.

    Cons

Work can be high stress at times, especially if you run out of something and have a line of customers who are waiting.

    Advice to Management

Work on training your crew members to be faster and more efficient, especially on the line. There were lot of people who were not well trained and slowed the line down as a result. It seems like there was a lack of motivation to improve.

I worked at Chipotle part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You receive free lunch on your break of either 10 or 30 minutes depending on the length of your shift.

    Cons

Coworkers talk about you in Spanish. Not necessarily saying bad things, but they make comments about you to coworkers and/or management yet they never say anything to you directly.

    Advice to Management

Make sure all of your employees are thoroughly trained and not made to look like fools.

It would be nice to make sure all of your employees feel comfortable and welcomed.

I have been working at Chipotle part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you work a shift that day you could have a free meal and there is a discount you have on days you don't work

    Cons

Always busy and can fall behind on tasks easily. Never too much free time and always given new tasks to do when not doing anything

    Advice to Management

Pay more because the amount done is ridiculous

I have been working at Chipotle part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Regulars who frequent chipotle with a positive aspect
Light up the entire restaurant and experience.
Fast pace means you don't really get overly bored and time goes fast.
Free lunch with amazing food. (If there is a good grill)
    Cool values set up

    Cons

Some management inconsistencies throughout the process. There is a high turnover rate. The company always changes standard so it becomes hard to keep up with the new expectations for part time workers.
    Continuous food rush

    Advice to Management

Upper upper management is killing the store managers. There needs to be new protocols to ensure a healthy work environment as the company promises. This stress on the store managers creates a weaker relationship with the crew. The many high standards force immoral shortcuts to beat the tedious system.

    Pros

Good thing about chipotle you get 50% off food also the work itself is pretty easy and chill

    Cons

Bad thing chipotle is a well known company so it's always busy

    Advice to Management

    Be better managers

I worked at Chipotle full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Easy advancement up to GM
    Free meal on shift
    Generally good training
I can't think of any other pros but Glassdoor has a 20 word minimum.

    Cons

Corporate often prioritizes middle managers over the crew and manager actually at the restaurant
    Long hours
    Little support from upper management

    Advice to Management

Support the people actually in the store. I've seen so many GMs develops health problems because of the stress they were under from area managers trying to pad their numbers. Requiring Gms and apprentices to work 50+ hours for a 30-40k salary is ridiculous. Many will end up making less per hour than hourly managers.
