      Long hours, fulfilling to some

      Pros

You get to cook great food and work in a fast paced environment. Definitely fast food, with little control over recipes, but you still get to cook Chipotle's famous chicken and other grill ingredients. Benefits are also really good. Very cheap health insurance with dental and eye care. My manager was also great and told me he was able to climb the local restaurant's ladder with ease.

      Cons

Long hours, really fast paced if you're on the grill. It is both a pro and con. One missed timing and everyone is waiting on you. You are one of the main driving forces of the kitchen. Clean up can get very frustrating as you spend 45 min - 1hr every day. Other grill masters, however, can be extremely unfriendly and sometimes have large bloated egos. Can get into unnecessary fights and bad blood with other members of the staff, like the extremely hardworking and necessary dishwashing team. Perhaps to be expected like in any work environment? Not quite sure as this was my second job ever.

Great Company but not easy to move past single operations management

      Pros

Great company that is growing and is an industry leader. You get quarterly bonuses that are results based and when you are promoted to restaurateur you earn RSU's that vest 50% after two years and 100% after 3 years.

      Cons

You will work very long hours and you are expected to be available at almost all times. The multi-unit manager jobs are not easy to obtain if you are being promoted from within. Promotions are given based on relationships and not based on performance.

      Pros

Starting pay is a little higher than other fast food joints, you get a free meal each shift you work, there is high probability you can become a manager if you work hard, and they have a tuition reimbursement program.

      Cons

High turnover, sometimes very physically demanding, long hours, barely any training

      Ups and downs

      Pros

Cool people and, when busy, time flies.

      Cons

Constant changes to expectations, and incredibly strict despite these often contradictory changes. Job expectations do not match compensation. Opportunity to make a career in salaried positions, but it takes an outsized effort to reach and stay in these positions. Have seen multiple GMs burn out or be on the verge of breakdown due to long hours, stress, etc.
