    Pros

Very exciting time to work at Chromalloy. New CEO and lots of changes to help improve the organization and make it better.

    Cons

At times, communication could be much better between functional areas. I feel that improving interaction and dialogue between functions would really help accelerate the changes being championed by the new CEO.

    Advice to Management

Continue to listen to the line workers and keep letting people know what is happening and how it affects their livelihood.

I worked at Chromalloy Gas Turbine full-time

    Pros

Investment in Phoenix facility (a few years ago) generated significant growth. Employees were engaged and teamwork was strong. There was great momentum for the site lean deployment as well.

    Cons

The GM destroyed the culture with his "everyone is replaceable" view and was ultimately transferred into a sales position. HR leadership at the site was terrible with a focus on writing people up and termination rather than developing and growing.

    Advice to Management

It's too late at this point, you must reap what you sow.

    Pros

If you like long hours and and work on the clock you will be able to accomplish this in most areas.

    Cons

Senority does not mean anything when it comes to who would be laid off first. How hard you work does not mean anything as to who would get laid off first either.

    Advice to Management

Keep the employees who are committed to the goals of the Company and have a tract record of positive and productive work performance.

I worked at Chromalloy Gas Turbine full-time

    Pros

Chromalloy was a very good place to work for until the business was sold to the Carlyle gtoup....

    Cons

Too many bad decisions by upper management, Los Angeles was a very productive and profitable division within the organization, decided to shop the work to Mexico for profits sake and it was a truly bad decision, they lost numerous long time customers because of shoddy work and on time delivery they poured millions of dollars and man hours to only fail...hope Nat Love is finally happy

    Advice to Management

With all of your highly educated Ceo Vp and managers...how many of you actually have real time business sense?? to actually think that you could send a process to a shop in Mexico and think they would learn the process by looking in a book that you provided? Hope you're enjoying the downfall of a once great company. ..

    Pros

Nice people to work with. Most employees are trying to do a good job.

    Cons

No bonuses or raises in a couple of years and yet they still use that as one of their enticements for working there. Building is really dirty and old.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of parts that aren't making money and concentrate on the ones that do.
