I worked at Chromalloy Gas Turbine full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good place to work, like family had a wonderful time since it was my first aviation job. Learned a lot from great people. 2008 housing crisis hit and our job began to disappear. Held on to for a while

    Cons

Management really had no idea what was going on. Had a manager every so often as they left the company or were fired. No one knew what was going on. Money was tight so had to do what we could with what we had.

    Pros

Great work environment, generally relaxed but still getting results. Interesting business, The engineering is fascinating if you're into that. My pay was good but i cant say i know others.

    Cons

Work can get tedious depending on what you are doing. Management can sometimes get caught up in meaningless issues but is generally good.

    Advice to Management

Theres a large leadership structure but probably not as much work being done by them as there could be. However, I had an excellent time working at Chromalloy and enjoyed interacting with management every day.
