Work 40 hours and get paid for 25
Apr 25, 2023 - Outpatient Therapist in Flagler Beach, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
If you want to work full time and work close to 40 hours for 25 hours of pay you will be offered: Free licensure supervision Tons of free trainings paid at $15 per hour (this is nice) Paid monthly meetings with supervisor and group at $15 an hour Company laptop (you use your own phone and no stipend) Great Dental Insurance
Cons
Therapy positions are purely fee for service with a minimum requirement of 25 billable therapy hours per week. There is a very high rate of no show's and cancellations which in turn means you need to carry a unreasonable caseload (and have appt open for each). Case loads are easily 30-35 clients in order to make 25 billable hours. This means you will be required to free up time and not get paid when no show's happen. The OPT program is constantly going back and forth on changes and that is a huge red flag. Growth is good and requires change but the management in OPT is so out of touch with reality that they are flippantly making decisions and hurting staff in the process. They do not care about anything other than the 25 minimum hours... best believe that. Other cons: horrific and expensive health insurance Terrible PTO structure (again only kind of advantageous for high billers).

Pros
Used to have great training and assistance with client care and therapeutic skills. Free CEUs through online learning and face to face classes. Knowledgeable direct supervisors. The upper management used to listen to feedback. Some of the old timers still have a heart and want to help therapists continue to grow. Still a good place to start and learn the ropes when it comes to therapy. Flexible scheduling.
Cons
Since new management came on board there is a lack of care for the client and the employees. Lack of training for new employees which puts strain on the "old timers." --I believe the new management does not have a clue what mental health is or what we are doing with clients. When upper management leaves the company, they are not replaced and instead more pressure is given to the people that stay.

Good starting point for Reg. Interns
Apr 25, 2023 - Lead Therapist in Orlando, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great way to accrue hours for licensure.
Cons
Abyssmal pay, especially for licensed therapists. High expectations/requirements for # of sessions / week when they don't sincerely compensate or account for time spent on documentation.

Therapist development/trainings, bonuses, and creating own schedule.
Cons
Being fee for service, lack of benefits.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Decent pay compared to other pre-licensed positions
Cons
Expectations to work with clients who are not appropriate for telehealth or outpatient level of care. Need to seemingly be available 24/7; minimum hours requirement for PTO and benefits that gets screwy when clients no-show.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Flexible

Great Company and Caring Team
Nov 11, 2022 - Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager in Tampa, FLRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
People at Chrysalis are just a cut above, very professional at all levels. The pay in direct client care is above other agencies, in my experience.Chrysalis encourages staff to grow and to grow into supervisory positions and promote from within.
Cons
Pay in salary positions isn't at a competitive level anymore.
