I have been working at Church & Dwight full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free coffee, Flexibility to Work from Home, Competitive Pay

    Cons

Zero mentoring when it comes to Senior Leadership and their teams. They will not blink twice and smile happily while leaving you out to dry. The lack of diversity seeing it's the 21st century is mildly disturbing to witness on a daily basis.

    Advice to Management

Develop and invest in your people instead of churning and burning.

    Pros

There are no pros for a horrible company like this. They are the definition of evil.

    Cons

In no way should you EVER, EVER, EVER, work for this company if you value your career, life, and family. This company is a Hostile Company that treats their employees like garbage and only cater to the executives.

A company that so called has "unlimited" sick days, scolds you for actually taking a sick day. When you hit 10-12 days in a YEAR (that's 12 days out of 365 DAYS) you get in trouble. So, god forbid if you get the flu or sick, they will take every measure to hold it over your head and against you. Then it looks bad for your review and any chance of promotion won't go in your favor. There was even a case when a co worker was extremely ill (almost FATAL) and the company was threatening to fire them because they were going to have surgery. You would think the company would help and be positive toward their recovery. No get well wishes, nothing. Just come back to work or you're fired.

HR breathes down your neck like fire and stalks you on their camera systems. If you late by even a couple minutes you'll be notified and strikes will apply to your record like it's a prison. Strikes? REALLY? Are we in 3rd grade?

Say goodbye to your family and work life balance as you'll be here for long hours with horrible pay. The company churns and burns employees like a revolving door. When we get temps/contractors to help with work they will only last a couple months before they are fired or have enough courage to stick up for themselves and quit. Oh, and if you get fired, you're not allowed to even grab your belongings from your office. I've seen plenty of co-worked get "let go" and they were escorted out like a prisoner without even gather pictures, belonging, or personal effects. They'd be lucky enough to get them back if anything.

Promotions? What promotions, do they even exist? When it comes to raises you only get peanuts for a raise. They don't even match industry averages. They highly underpay you especially women. No room for growth and Favoritism is played. There were even instances where they forced out old employees because they did not want to cover any of their benefits after they retire. Even started to higher or Promote unqualified people for high-level positions overlooking employees who poured their life into the company. The company is mismanaged and will tank in the long run or at least get bought out by a bigger competitor. I really do hope so, so all the upper-level executives get canned and better management would come in. At least I had the never to leave on my own while finding something much better. It wasn't worth my sanity or mental state of mind. Work is NOT LIFE!

    Advice to Management

Grow up and do what all the bigger and better companies are doing. TRUST IN YOUR EMPLOYEES and STOP making a hostile environment by HR and Managment.
