    Pros

You work in the client space and as long as you are billable, you will get paid. At times they will arrange some appreciation lunch etc. immigration is handled in a professional manner.

    Cons

No discussion regarding promotions etc . Limited or no option for high achievers. Getting hike is also not easy and getting new project is next to impossible unless the client manager release you.

    Advice to Management

There is a difference between consultant and contractor. If you are planning to hire consultant who can get you more business in future, you need to invest in them.

    Cons

Poor medical insurance and pay is very low as they have a lot of internal managers and the overhead cost cut reflects on our salary

I worked at Ciber full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Growing staffing company that has some corporate project teams and that produces some products the provide unique value to the IT world. They're committed to improving from the disjointed company they were in the past to a company that's top tier for both employees and customers. Better than average new hire orientation. They try to make even the contractors they staff at client companies feel part of their organization.

    Cons

They have a ways to go. You can still be lost in the big company. If the contract ends and there's no other obvious placement, there's also no bench to put you on.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the integration/improvement effort to make the organization one integrated company that all employees can feel a valuable part of. Put focus and staff on the Momentum project before it loses its momentum due to long waiting lists for information and implementation.

    Pros

Minimal contact with the headquarters, help when requested

You will be placed and forgotten, growing their employees doesn't seem to be in the plan

I worked at Ciber as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    1. They were very fast to arrange the interview, provide all information for me to prepare and received feedback quickly
    2. Supportive in every sense, helped me a lot with a lot of questions I had
    3. I never waited to get their reply. The longest was probably 1 day which is amazing
    4. They have great relationship with their clients. My colleagues told me they were transferred to another projects when they requested change which is very good
    5. Almost everything is done on their Ciberspace portal which is very helpful and minimizes the need for calling them and asking bunch of questions
    6. They are very organized and in my case made smooth transition from one person to another
    7. There is always someone on site who helped. That is very important for big companies where you really need help from someone who knows the culture and how things work there
    8. They listened to everything I had to say! Amazing!

    Cons

They only thing I would have liked to see is much better tuition assistance, especially for EMBA program. Every company offers a lot of money (usually 100% tuition assistance) for their employees who are accepted for the program as the ROI is very fast (usually 2 to 4 years depending on the school).

    Advice to Management

Keep on going and maintain your relationship with the clients. Establish by far better tuition assistance program.
