    Good compensation. People are sincere.

    Cons

Financial struggles are crippling the company and the brand. The CEO is not inspiring.

    Advice to Management

Sell off divisions of the company that is not part of Ciber's core competencies. Examples would be Oracle and Infor. Then focus on growth.

I have been working at Ciber full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Ciber, born in Detroit, continues to have the hard working stamina of people in the Midwest. More than 600 consultants in the Great Lakes region take pride in the work they provide to local clients and are proud to be Ciber employees. Our collaborative work environment and excellent customer service make Ciber a great place to work.

    Cons

Ciber's financial struggles are a current setback, but think of where some of our client's stock prices were 7 years ago and where they are today. This is a challenge we will overcome.

    Advice to Management

Stay in touch with your employees and continue communicating the news. Take pride in our accomplishments - many are working very hard to continue the legacy.

    Pros

    Trust
    Work - Life Balance

    Cons

    No Strategy, no plan
More chiefs than Indians, so huge overhead cost for people who don't make a difference

    Advice to Management

The ship has sunk, so advice is a bit too late.
You should have thought and cared about the employee, then turnover, profit and happy customers would have come by itself. In stead, you focused on shareholder value and management bonus. Top management killed a once proud and healthy company and this one is 100% on them. I hope they feel guilty, but i fear they won't.

    Advice to Management

None - you bankrupt a good company and are hanging around for your last bonus check

I have been working at Ciber (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits and options to work from home.
good bonuses(if there is any work to be had).
    good people. relaxed atmosphere

    Cons

Ciber is in major trouble Financially, Ciber is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Debt to Wells Fargo and the CEO is making a comfy $30+ Million. Ciber is trying to sell off all European branches and businesses to try and pay off the debt. no clear direction and management at most levels seems to have no idea hat is going on. They try and calm you with the 'this news doesnt affect out business practice, it is other departments', but the whole company is in trouble. they are laying off people left and right to try and salvage any salary for the CEO and board. that D-day is coming when Wells decides not to push their deadline back any further,

    Advice to Management

It is really to the point of no return for Ciber, unfortunate for the little people. BIG CEOs are good making all their money and tanking the company.
