Pros
Awesome people to work with, open to self-directed approaches to work, supportive systems that are consistently being further upgraded, positive work environment. Benefits are decent and very well priced. I was laid off due to departmental downturn in the economy, and they handled it very well.
Cons
No complaints! All of my colleagues said they were happy working there, and I was also pleased to be working at Cielo.

Pros
Agile leaders who can actually make change. Leaders who listen and care. Great remote work opportunities and flexible PTO policy. Career growth opportunities if you own your own development. TONs of training and development paths. Access to the best tools and recruiting teams. A great place to recruit.
Cons
I am a little disappointed on how the rolling layoffs have been handled. People are working in fear every day that they will be next. We all know it is a tough market and changes need to happen... most of us understand the "why." However, I wish Cielo would do something different. Can they offer voluntary severance or furloughs before making more cuts? That would go a long way with employees. I also wish benefits were better - Parental Leave is bad - I don't know how employees can manage 12 weeks at 50-60% pay. This hasn't been reviewed since 2019 - it may be time for an update.
