    Approves of CEO

I have been working at Cigars International full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This company is huge but still has a small company feel. Having majority of departments under one roof provides endless opportunity to learn. I love going to work, challenging at times but that's what makes it fun!

    Cons

Not many Cons so far. Eventually may need to expand into a larger warehouse as we take on additional SKUs.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work! Continue building best practices!

I worked at Cigars International full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Marketing is fantastic. They are crazy about what they sell and are good at it. Back of the house is much much more important than anything else

    Cons

Sales department treated as lowest in the company. If not in the “trust” circle the job is incredibly filled with procedure on top of procedures. Definitely a “big brother” feeling at all times. Gossip is rampant and you can trust no one.

    Advice to Management

Treat people who actually care with respect and a feeling of value

    Pros

Owner encourages new ideas and allows his employees to try new ideas. He has great knowledge of the business and shares his past experience allowing you to learn from his success.

    Cons

Somewhat disorganized and low expectations at times for the staff. Although it is a relaxed atmosphere, employees need to handle business when slow.

    Advice to Management

Set daily scheduled tasks, such as restocking inventory. Higher expectations on personal custom experience.

    Pros

Good pay and liked people I worked with but it stops there.

    Cons

They upgraded to a new system which caused major issues. Non stop calls and customers were waiting on hold for 20-30 minutes if they could even get through. Was told when hired that they didn't stress on call length and training would be 3 weeks. However both were total lies as training was not even a week and was thrown on the phone, and was told to keep the calls to 3 minutes which was not always possible.

    Advice to Management

The training should be at least two weeks

    Advice to Management

you need to open your eye and see who does the work .
