I worked at Cigna full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits start day 1, vacation time, computers are up to date. Upper management is very customer centric.

    Cons

No opportunities for advancement, empty promises made by management, very set in their ways.

    Advice to Management

Upper management is very nice, focused on the customer, and appreciated employees. Lower management has no idea how to really treat a customer. They don't care how you treat them as long as you make productivity stats and they look good to their boss.

Management treats employees like a popularity contest and if your not the favorite, you lose.

They need to clean house of the management in the SD location and start over. They need to listen to what employees say and follow thru not just tell them what they want to hear.

I really loved working there but management sucks and they cause their employees a lot of stress.
