I worked at Cinemark full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Free movies, flexible schedules, holiday pay, fun atmosphere to work in, great place for students to work, lots of opportunity for growth

    Cons

Have to work a majority of he holidays as the business is open every day of the year, once you hit a certain level you have to relocate to move up

    Advice to Management

Allow employees to move up in house rather than having to relocate. You will lose great employees because their growth potential caps out.

    Pros

For someone who loves movies, working for Cinemark definitely has its perks. Free movies are always great. Previewing content and preparing for events is also very fun.

    Cons

99% of the work is customer service which can go unappreciated. There are many days in which you will work and not receive any recognition or thanks.

    Advice to Management

Make sure to show your employees appreciation. Work at maintaining a team oriented atmosphere so that the staff can support itself.

    Pros

Super easy job. Doesn't take a lot of thought.

    Cons

The customers always seem to feel entitled to upgrading for free or getting things handed to them. The higher up management always caves and doesn't back up their staff or policies.

I worked at Cinemark part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Just about all of the people i worked with were always having fun while we got the job done. The managers were always helpful and would take the time to help you grow as a worker.

    Cons

There will always be those coworkers that try to be your boss, when nobody is around that's when they strike. And of course you'll get the people who "are never wrong" i say that both for your coworkers and the customers.
