    Pros

This was my first job and I loved it! I learned so much and gained confidence in customer service and more skills that helped prepare me for my future! Management and staff were very great! Also helped that I loved movies and I've always wanted to work there since I was young! And great perks too!

    Cons

Not really any cons...overall just a very fun and exciting job!

  2. "It's good but they are extremely bad about giving out raises, they just would NOT give me my raise."

I have been working at Cinemark part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The free movies and pop corn and drinks will save you so much money (I'm up to $1000 saved!)
The work environment is also great I love the people and if you are a fan of movies it is great to be around everything.

    Cons

You will not get praised for doing good work or literally saving the theater, although if you mess up they will not take a second to tell you off

    Advice to Management

Praise and tell your workers when they do good work.

I have been working at Cinemark full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people are great, flexible scheduling, opportunity for growth, great place to work while in school (high school and college),

    Cons

Compensation, holiday/weekend work, HR policies are outdated

    Advice to Management

Better compensation for employees and AM's will help retain staff. Requiring management to cut payroll so thin affects sales and creates an endless cycle.

While this is a large company, it still feels small. Everyone is friendly and gets to know you and make you feel welcome.

    Cons

I worked at Cinemark (More than a year)

    Pros

free movies if you ask in advance and they aren't super crowded, friendly co-workers, a lot of down time during slower days

    Cons

a lot of work for little pay. managers play favorites when doing promotions. but promotions don't lead to a big increase in pay anyway.

    Advice to Management

don't fall for people sucking up to you so much, and let's increase the salary a little bit huh?

I worked at Cinemark part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There were a lot of people who were friendly. The managers took things very seriously so no one's poor work ethic went unnoticed.

    Cons

They hired a lot of young people so they often have the work ethic of a young person. If youre an ushsr you'll be running up and down stairs and constantly around the premises. If youre in concession then you'll be dealing with horrible customers and staying till 12am a lot.

    Advice to Management

Screening for hirees should be more thorough.
