    Pros

A lot of money to be made if you hustle

    Cons

Awkward tipping out system where the servers act superior.

    Advice to Management

If someone applies for part-time do not ask them to work full-time.

    I worked at Cinepolis full-time

    Pros

Very flexible schedule and free movies. All the popcorn and soda you want.

    Cons

Corporotate is incompetent. They try to run the company via Mexican laws and standards. Local, state and federal building and life safety codes are not kept up to date. Cinepolis will not spend money where they dont understand why the dont have to. Well, ignorance is no excuse. This is by far the worst company I have worked for. Its obvious to me, and I dealt directly with the COO, etc that they have no interest in happy employees or do they care to Make America Great Again. I could go on and on. Its a paycheck...

    Advice to Management

    Support the USA!

I worked at Cinepolis part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free and discounted food and tickets. Advance movie screenings for employees. Flexible hours.

    Cons

HR sucked and did not truly care about employees. Tips were divided up horribly. Cleaning staff received more tips than the runners and cast members who actually took, cooked, and served the order. Not paid enough for the work.

    Advice to Management

Stop having favorites and stop being moody to the point of affecting those who you are supposed to be a role model for.

I worked at Cinepolis part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You get free movie tickets for the luxury or premium side
You get a great discount on the food (50%)

    Cons

The Managers don't seem to know what they are doing especially during a rush
The new hires were not trained enough so it would set everyone back
The building was new but everything was falling apart and failing such as leaks and dispensers not functioning
We had many times when connection severs were down and there were angry guests not being able to purchase concession items and they were getting free movies tickets but it would turn into chaos because eventually they had to leave because they were sitting in a seat someone purchased online and the managers didn't help very well with the situation as employees were left with the chaos without any Intel on what was actually going on and they were running around looking panicked but not telling us what to do so we had to fend for ourselves.
The HR seemed to be helpful but everything we told them especially complaints, we were given false hope in the long run. The HR continuously messed up our pay checks and we all had the suspicion that money were being taken out of our pay checks
We would get complaints of continuous things like "there's no sound in theatre 12" or "your carpet is very dirty" but managers wouldn't try their hardest to help the problem. The theater was a hybrid so managers took care of the luxury side more and basically didn't care for the premium side unless there was a big issue and it typically resulted to a very dirty bathroom or carpet and auditorium.

    Advice to Management

    Train the new hires well
    Be familiar with the company
You NEED to fix the communication between the managers and employees

    Pros

Work at one of the most upscale date night spots in any area. Get to meet a lot of cool people, co-workers and guests alike. Bar/Servers make CASH.

    Cons

Poor management complacent in their jobs. High turnover. Corporate has a policy that they cannot get involved in tipping, therefore servers get fat while runners starve for even more work.

Mexico headquarters control everything so even if you have a good idea, and you can get corporate usa on your side, mexico will likely find a reason to blindly say it doesnt or cannot work. #MakeAmericaGreatAgain

    Advice to Management

Try actually...working? The supervisor staff laziness perpetuates a dangerous precedent among cast members.

I have been working at Cinepolis full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are very warm and collaborative. In the past year, they've invested a lot in senior leadership to position the company for aggressive national growth creating more opportunities. It is a diverse work environment with a focus on guest service.

    Cons

It's a small growing company in the US. However, with the support of a large global brand, they are beginning to enhance benefits, culture, and opportunities for growth across the board.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in your people and culture.
