    Pros

    Smelled nice; pay wasn't terrible

    Cons

Constantly understaffed - worked many shifts by myself (it is too much for one person); not very good about getting someone to cover your shift

    Advice to Management

Just hire more people. It's better for everyone.

I have been working at Cinnabon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The good thing about Cinnabon is the $10 an hour pay, the friendly attitudes and the discounts on pastries and drinks sold in store.

    Cons

It is ironically too cold to work, I thought the oven would warm the small kitchen up just fine, but the two air conditioners on both sides of the store make it chilly and uncomfortable to do anything. People you work with stand around and do nothing when they could at least try looking for something to do (dishes, checking baking times, changing gloves, etc.). People are also hired if they are not appropriate for the job. For example, some or my co-workers constantly open the oven without alerting others and because both doors of the oven swing open I was nearly burnt a couple of times. When the oven goes off even the people standing around doing nothing are suddenly too busy to press a switch and I have to stop what I'm doing when I'm the farthest away from the oven to go turn it off. I feel that if the manager was more selective with the group interview and hiring people the majority of these problems wouldn't exist.

    Advice to Management

Better working conditions, better choices in terms of hiring workers, etc.

I have been working at Cinnabon part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I love working at cinnabon because of all the people I meet on a day to day basis who work at the mall I've made some great connections.

    Cons

My management at my current location is really bad and they're not doing anything to fix it.

I worked at Cinnabon (Less than a year)

    Pros

Got free food, drinks, and employee discounts with other restaurants and clothing stores at the mall. The manager was really nice along with the employees.

    Cons

The upper management (executive) who owned the franchise was harsh and did not treat employees well. The working environment (coming in and out of the fridge and baking cinnamon rolls) was stressful at times as there were not enough employees.

I have been working at Cinnabon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Little supervision so was able to eat and take home all the Cinnabons you wanted.

    Cons

Little supervision so coworkers did what they wanted but I'm sure it's not like that at all Cinnabons.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to workers, I've seen sketchy this gs happen.

I worked at Cinnabon part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Little Supervision, Free Cinnabon & Drink of choice everyday, Nice Customers

    Cons

Horrible management, Not enough hours, Not enough workers, Bad supervision by franchise owner, Unrealistic sales goals

    Advice to Management

This job would have so much more potential if the employees were actually treated nicely and were not put under so much pressure.
