I have been working at Cintas full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great experience to have on your resume. You really get to learn the ins and outs of corporate life. You get B2B experience and learn how to deal with upset customers as well as very satisfied customers. If you can stay in this position for more than a year, you shouldn't have a problem moving up in the company into either a management position or sales.

    Cons

Expected to work more than 60 hrs a week. Not much of a work/family life balance. The Service Sales Rep Supervisor position is known throughout the company as, "THE WORST JOB IN CINTAS". If you can hack it, many doors will open.

    Advice to Management

Keep growing and do not understaff the service department. SSRs are the face of the company, treat them with respect and do what you can to make things easier on them, not harder.

I have been working at Cintas full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

great work life balance because you are done with work at 2. Lots of free time. Lots of cool ssr. 401k matching. really nothing else is good about this job. everyone hates working there.

    Cons

High pressure for growth. Once you build up a good client bass they do a route split which decreases your pay. management sucks and couldn't care less about forcing you to drive in dangerous situations like ice storms. At the end of the month they will act like your best friend and beg for high amount of sales, but once the new month starts they treat you like crap. They will pee on your back, and won't give you the common courtesy to call it rain.

    Advice to Management

don't screw over the employees. Be friendlier and give the front line employees more support. Fallow through on promises. Have an hr person who cares for employees

I worked at Cintas full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Most people that work for Cintas are great. They work very hard to earn their pay.

    Cons

Cintas plays games with salary and compensations, especially with the older workers. If Cintas is a short term situation for you, then it could work on a temporary basis otherwise you should definetly look elsewhere. Corporate greed is rampant, at the expense of hard working employees. I would never recommend this company to anyone seeking a place of employment with honesty and integrity.

    .

    Advice to Management

Stop justifying and minimizing your role in cheating people out of their pay. Stop making excuses to yourselves for disrespecting people that have worked very hard for Cintas and have sacrificed so much.

I have been working at Cintas as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

There is good pay, company is very concerned with it's partners safety, and managers go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.

    Cons

Cintas does not give many vacation days to beginning employees, which can be a downturn if you wanted to see your family for some holidays.

    Advice to Management

The management at Cintas were encouraging, however they need to hold some partners more accountable for their job.

    Pros

Good employees, great benefits, great for independent workers, advancement opprtunties, four day work week for service sales reps at most locations

    Cons

poor managerial staff, zero recognition for its service training coordinators, long hours for service training coordinators, very low pay for stc's

    Advice to Management

don't take all of the recognition and none of the blame, although this is a business you do not have machines working for you
