      Great job/company, but underpaid

Apr 18, 2021 - Store Manager in Columbus, OH
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Promotes from within. Friendly employees and upper management. Trusts you to get the job done without constant supervision. Relaxed atmosphere.

      Cons

Low pay for the amount of work expected. Unrealistic expectations given labor hours are kept unrealistically low, and overtime is generally not allowed. Staffing is ALWAYS a problem because our pay is so low.

      Circle K

Apr 15, 2021 - Lead Customer Service Representative in Bradenton, FL

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Raise every 3-6 months (20-50 cents). You'll have "regulars" who will become apart of your everyday life. Customers appreciate & value friendly service and make it worth it. Raises happen when you ASK. Good benefits, paid vacation & sick time. Management works with you if the schedule needs to be adjusted (give at LEAST a day in advance) .

      Cons

It's a gas station so you're going to encounter every type of person. Regardless if it's located in a good area or not, you'll have rude nasty impatient customers just like really nice friendly ones. Basic manners are not as common as you'd think. Management doesn't appreciate employees like they should. high turnover rate. Work alone so no actual breaks. If you smoke you have to run out in between customers and you'll never finish. My first year I had 9 different store managers & worked 28 hours straight by myself.

A company you can grow with!

May 1, 2021 - Regional Operations Manager in Columbus, IN
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

The benefits are pretty good. This company promotes within and rewards hard work.

      Cons

At times there seems to be a lack of direction from senior management. Also this job requires you to work between 55-70 hours a week.
