I have been working at Circle Line Sightseeing full-time

    Pros

Tickets to experience cruise and other partner attractions, looks good on resume, and that is about it because this company is too greedy to care about their employees.

    Cons

Work you like a slave, benefits are no good, no teamwork, people that have been there for years do not know the basics, too many managers with no direction or communication.

No growth because only people that suck up to management will get far. Management gets threatened by talented people.

    No employee appreciation whatsoever.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the very few good employees you still have.

Cute mid size company- most employees (perm employees) know each other.

    Cons

    Job growth is nearly nil.
    Too many unhappy employees.
    Salary growth is limited.
    Executives are rude

    Advice to Management

    Appreciate your employee work.

I have been working at Circle Line Sightseeing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free passes to use a tourist attractions if you attend a meeting, 11/hr + weekly pay for Greeters and 10.50/hr for Ticket Agents. It's an easy job

    Cons

Standing outdoors all day was so annoying especially when the visitor count was low. Also the greeter manager ignored her seasonal staff and only spoke to the 2 permanent hires. It shouldn't feel weird to greet your manager or vice versa. She let the permanent hires with no managerial title dictate what ideas should be implemented instead of asking all of us our opinion. I would never think twice about working there again

I worked at Circle Line Sightseeing full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Convenient Location In Hudson River which allows easy access from any borough and New Jersey

    Cons

    - Tell you during interview process for peace of mind that you have a contract...NO CONTRACT EXISTS WITH THIS COMPANY
    - Promise of "benefits, vacation, etc" is a great big sell out...used only to hook people in during the interview process
    - Work load is advertised as minimum until you are hired and shown your real duties expected of you
    - You will be expected to pick up the work load of others
    - Favoritism is played among supervisors and employees
    - Work duties are expected of you even though some may be illegal according to OSHA, Coast Guard, etc
    - Although you work 40 hours a week and are highest paid in your department, you are told you are not considered "full time"
    - You do not have a voice
    - You are treated as a slave and get no recognition of work
    - Supervisors can be rude, disrespectful and arrogant at times

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the mafia within the company and maybe just maybe the company can begin a change for the better
