    Pros

There is so much turnover in the company it is easier than other places to advance.

    Cons

Senior level management have no clear direction for the company. It seems as though senior management is almost trying to run the company into the ground. I know from look at my peers throughout the district and region, that there seems to be a greater 80% turnover in store level and district level management. This does not motivate you to stay with this company. You are highly discouraged from having a personal life or taking any sort of vacation. Having been a Store Director for several years, I have only once seen an annual review, although I have been told they have been written each year. I would have to say that if you are considering moving to this company, you might want to reconsider that.

    Advice to Management

Senior Management has made several large mistakes over many years that have cost the company and shareholders a lot of money, not to mention been a black eye on the companys public relations. An example of this would be during 2007 when they layed off all of the highest paid (most seasoned and best trained) store level employees. Senior Management should probably look in the mirror and deicide if they are helping the company or just collecting a pay check.

    Pros

great teamworking environment and time off policy. coworkers are always willing to help and go out their way to assist associates.

    Cons

bad management policies and poor job training. Management is always changing company policy and never waits for a plan to work. Training is also nonexistant and has been cut from the company.

    Advice to Management

Bring back the training that can help employees grow into a better job within the company. Also allow employees to have a flexible stop and start time may encourage increased employee morale. Finally pick a plan and stick with it for longer than a month at a time.

    Pros

If the world were to end and this was the only place left to work, it would be a good place to be. While most of the people are working hard to win, a complete lack of business rhythm, strategy, and road map hamper their efforts tremendously. I have never seen an organization care so little for their people and openly treat them that way. I am sure that there are other companies more appropriate in the area for others.

    Cons

You have to admit to working for the world's worst CEO.

    Advice to Management

    Run.

    Pros

Flexible hours. Fairly comfortable atmosphere. My pay is ok for part time, although i could get more elsewhere.

    Cons

Everything else is wrong with this company. Mid level management has no idea what to do. Directives change quarterly as new customer satisfaction data comes in. Stop pandering and start doing something right. Stop giving yourselves raises while you cut hours to the sales and operations staff. We are overworked and underpaid. Want to stop internal theft? Pay them enough so they can pay their bills and still buy a movie. Stop doing stupid asset protection promos to try to get people to rat each other out. This list of complaints could go on and on.

    Advice to Management

STOP GIVING YOURSELVES RAISES WHILE YOU DRIVE THE COMPANY INTO THE GROUND

    Pros

There are still a lot of great people there at the lower and middle levels trying everything to turn the company around.

    Cons

Senior management has transitioned from just massive incompetence to criminally lining their own pocket on the ride out of business...there is simply no excuse for the senior leaders still having jobs after so many months and quarters of incompetent leadership...all the people who cared more about the company than their jobs have long since been forced out, and the executives left will do anything to keep their high-paying jobs with no accountability for results as long as possible.

Phil only talks to the same people who, thanks to recent "retention bonuses" that were just "peanut-buttered" across the higher levels of the organization in typical CC-lack-of-analysis style, are solely motivated to keep their heads down so they can collect that bonus, since the stock is worth nothing. The company has potential if Phil and his remaining cronies can be removed from the helm, but it will take a long time and a lot of patience after the amount of damage they have all done.

    Advice to Management

Get out with the millions you will already collect for destroying a 50+ year old company and let some competent people who actually care about the future of the company start the hard work of picking up the pieces and turning things around.

    Pros

    I can't really see any.

    Cons

Unmotivated staff, absolutely no cooperation between stores, apparently unsupervised management. When I first started there I was promised a full time job - which means having at least some benefits after a certain amount of time. I was also promised to work as Sales Associate on the floor until the position I was applying for - Technician, was available. 2 months passed, I did not get transferred and I did not get the position I was promised. I outpreformed all the "superstar" kiddies that were working there. It's really bad when a promise is made and broken so easily by management.

    Advice to Management

I can't really think of any advice that could help you.

    Cons

Sales are horrible and subsidy is minimum wage.the management expect too much out of you and it is almost impossible to meet the minimum re

    Advice to Management

put all employees under salary ...subsidy barely covers minimum wage.they need to offer bonuses.
