Awesome place to work
Jan 24, 2023 - Software Engineering ManagerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Employee-first culture, great place to work
Cons
small company feel (which is good in fact)
- Current Employee, more than 5 years★★★★★
Pros
Great place to work and great team mates
Cons
Surprises from customer in schedules
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Nice and knowledgeable people, good moral, interesting work, fun place
Cons
Very narrow business, single customer dominant
- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
If you are looking for a place to work with great social settings and access to downtown then this is the place to work. The CEO - Jason is down to earth and talks and mingles with everyone. The facilities are outstanding and staff very helpful. A fun place to work and opportunity to meet and make good friends. Guitar lessons, SXSW, Monthly rock concerts and other events are some highlights.
Cons
Needs better inter-department communications. HR does not seem interested in retaining talent for the long run.

The reviewer does note some of the many activities and programs the company offers, all designed to foster camaraderie and productivity. They also of course play a large role in keeping our great employees engaged and motivated, as our very low attrition rates show. Thanks again!

Really fun & exciting place to work. Everyone is very friendly & helpful. Monthly rock concerts, weekly happy hour, celebrations pretty much for every occasion :)
Cons
Didn't get much exposure to other fields within the company

Small and Efficient Company
Oct 26, 2014 - Digital Design Intern in Austin, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
People here almost know each other. They motivate each other. Lots of fun and activities stuff. Great Employee care. Really one of the best place to work and career growth.
Cons
Since the company is small and tightly knit, the work schedules will be tight. In some perspectives, the work culture will be clearly different from bigger companies.

Generally positive work environment with its own challenges, like anywhere else.
Jan 2, 2019 - Software EngineerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Relaxed, friendly work environment—Cirrus places great focus on employee well-being and company culture. Interesting technology areas with opportunities to make an impact on end user experience.
Cons
Projects tend to be overstaffed and inundated with process for the sake of process, making it hard to progress toward a common goal. Time spent in "fire-fighting" mode makes it difficult to develop new technical skills.

Thank you for the review!
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Try and treat thier employees with respect and make it a fun place to work. If you work remotely it is not a good situation. Very little support outside of corp as it refers to tools, equip needed and understanding of your role. Good people and decent products
Cons
Too many close friendships at the management level that get in the way of making good business decisions. Although they will tell you that there are no politics at Cirrus Logic it is probably the worst I have seen in all the places I have been.
